I’m hallucinating and I can’t feel my right hand.

Sleep deprivation is crazy, y’all. It’s 6 a.m. and I’m finally going to sleep after a full 48 hours of being awake. I will never let this happen again.

I’m going to be optimistic.

Rejection isn’t the end. Only a halt. And with each step, I can eventually reach success. Without the journey, there is no accomplishment. I’m at a halt, but I’m almost there. I’m going to get there, and when I do, oh, it’s going to be something I’m proud of.

5 Trader Joe’s Products That Are Actually Life-Changing

View of Rome from the Altare della Patria, December 2013

Europe

I’m super conflicted about my love for Trader Joe’s right now.
I was happily scarfing down my artichoke when I got to the heart and noticed it was a bit discolored. As I turned it, I realized there was a hole and a maggot peeking out of it.
It was already dead, so it must have been there before I cooked it and died when I steamed the artichokes.
It’s like my mom’s Hamburger Helper incident in 2005 when a caterpillar got into the food and she accidentally cooked it. I ALMOST ATE IT BECAUSE IT LOOKED LIKE AN ONION.
Never again did I eat Hamburger Helper (probably for the best), but now it may be a loooooong time before I eat another artichoke.

And ironically, I’m writing an article for Her Campus about how great Trader Joe’s is. Well now, I’m not so sure. Blech.
